The details and richness of Dinah?s work complement Zuri?s contemporary cool designs and the combination of the two is exquisite. Zuri is delighted to have Dinah?s work and will be celebrating with an opening reception Thursday, May 6, from 6-9 pm at the Dallas store.
The local artist was born in London and has lived all over the world. She landed in the U.S. at 16 and has been creating works of art since. Dinah uses symbolic imagery in her work to portray different themes. Her most recent collection of oil paintings was created with the concept of celebration. She uses bird images to represent the freedom, joy and power that we feel when we celebrate new beginnings, new love and new self.
